Season of Mystery: The Cherry Blossom Murders

Season of Mystery: The Cherry Blossom Murders is a puzzle game about Irene and her husband Richard Pemberton. They have been living happily in Japan until Richard is killed in his office. The local authorities think that it was suicide but Irene suspects otherwise. In this hidden object mystery game, the intriguing plot is based on Irene’s point of view, so you will be helping Irene uncover the whole mystery as to who actually murdered Mr. Pemberton.

Just like in many other hidden objects games, this game is full of hidden objects which you are supposed to collect so as to solve the puzzle. The scenes in the different generic locations are beautiful especially with the gorgeous pink cherry and colorful kimono store and a rickshaw stand in the background. The soundtrack is very suitable for this kind of mystery game.

The scenes are also clear and hand drawn, which means that there is no need for too much navigation. The objects, which are fewer than in other hidden objects games, are discreetly hidden but not in a confusing manner. This is a fairly straightforward game with a clean hit system. You will definitely enjoy some intriguing mini games and incorporated logic puzzles that are all designed to help you find the real culprit in the game.
